Artist's Statement: Sarah Allen I live on a small island in British Columbia and have been painting tiles for approximately 15 years. I was originally trained in porcelain restoration. This work enabled me to learn a great deal about colour matching and different styles of painting. The work on display on this page is a made up of a selection of commissioned works. I particularly enjoy painting botanical subjects and wildlife. Many of the designs are fired several times giving depth and subtle blending to the colours. My work is priced according to the size, style and detail of the artwork desired. I am at present working with another artist to design a line of Victorian style furniture incorporating our own tiles.
