Ms. Santaniello has 27 years experience in painting watercolors, oils and the
encaustic mediums, and is the recipient of the 1988 first place award of the
"Kappa Pi International Art Scholarship" for her ability to design,
draw, use color and master the oil medium. "Kappa Pi" is an International
Honorary Art Fraternity that has many legendary honorary members. Ms. Santaniello
is featured on the front cover of the 1988 publication of the fraternities
"Sketch Book". She studied at the Baum School of Art, and Moore College of Art
in Philadelphia. She also studied under Leland Wallin, protégé of world renowned
painter, Philip Pearlstein; and watercolorist/architect, Lee Everett. She
developed her "majolica" technique for tile while she was raising two children
in a small rural town of Waverly, Pennsylvania.
